The Department of Zoology came in to being in 1959.Prof N Balakrishnan Nair(Rtd From Maharajas College Ernakulam) was the founder Head of the Dept. The Department conducts B.Sc Zoology and M.Sc. Zoology programmes. The Zoology Department has awell-maintainedd museum with exhibits ranging from skeletons of various animals as well as Taxidermied birds. The present Degree has Elective Subject as Aquaculture ,Animal Husbandary and Poultry. |
