The Department of Physical Education has bought laurels to the college through its acheivements over the years since the college was started.
The college has so far produced more than fifty international sports
persons in various sporting areas.

The college has four Sports Hostels allotted by the Kerala Sports Council where about fifty players of Basketball, Weightlifting, Judo and Swimming are accommodated.

The college has maintained first or second position in the Overall Sports Aggregate of the Calicut University for the past 20 years.
